my credit score isn't high enough to use prosper, but it says you can have family/friends vouch for you. Has anyone on here tried it that way? Do they actually contact them people(I'm sure so). Also, why do they need checking account numbers %26amp; do they take any fees?

First of all don't fall for the people that answered you question with the fact that they can get a loan for you. That is a scam so don't fall for them. 2nd you should go to a local credit union and try to apply there. I had a friend just get a loan through one at not a bad interest rate even tho her credit was not good. Even if you need a co-signer you would do better then trying something online. Good luck.
