What are the best options to pay off debt?

I don't have more than maybe 10 grand in debt but still, I would like to have to have a company try to help me without turning me away for bad credit(duh!!, thats why I'm asking for a loan, to then build my credit). Thanks for your input and have a beautiful day!!

List your debts smallest to largest, Put all you can on the smallest and pay minimums on all the rest. After you pay off the smallest roll what you have been paying on that debt to the next debt on your list. This is called a snowball. It is a way to build on success. I used this method and paid off several thousand dollars in just a few months. You must also stop digging the hole deeper by stop spending/borrowing. Good luck you are part of the way because you realize you have a problem.

Getting a loan is not the answer. I know.

THIS WILL change you're financial future.

If you have a home it will be easier to consolodate your debt. You just get a 2nd mortgage on your home valued at about 10 grand, then with the money pay off your credit cards. You mortgage payment will then rise per month, but it will be half or less of what your were paying the credit card companies.

Additionally, you will be able to deduct the interest paid on a 2nd mortgage, but you cannot deduct the interest you pay to credit card companies. This alone could easily be $500 a year of value to you with 10K debt.

If you don't have a home, it will be harder. My advice is to go to a bank, not a rip-off so called family finance company. Ask to speak with a loan officer. Find out if you qualify for a $10,000 personal loan to consolodate your credit. The interest rate won't be as good as if it were a 2nd mortgage, but it will be substantially lower than credit card APR.

Additionally, get used to not spending any money at all each month on little things. Saving will add up a lot.

Also, if you are a student, you might want to get a student loan to pay off your credit cards because student loans have much lower interest than credit cards.

Cut back on things like full coverage to minimal coverage car insurance. Buy and make your own cheap, healthy food instead of buying fast food for a rip off each day. The low saving rate is the biggest problem in the US economy right now.

Opt for a debt consolidation loan: The easiest method of getting a debt consolidation loan is to utilize the equity of your home. Equity of your home is calculated and determined by the difference in the amount you have paid and the amount you owe. If the amount you have paid is more than the amount due, you can use it as collateral. This allows you to borrow money on lower interest rates. Besides, you also get tax benefit on this type of loan. Consult your tax advisor before opting for this loan.

Usually companies charge hundreds of dollars to simply pull your credit and send correctly worded dispute letters閳ユ敄his is the key閳?.people will tell you that you can do this yourself for free but the truth of the matter is that the credit bureaus will throw your letters away or simply reject them.
