I have bad credit and i will need a student loan. What is the best way to handle this situation. I was told to get my bank to consolitate my debt but hey want a co-signer if i dont get one is there another way?

Government loans are the best for someone in your situation. How bad is your credit? If you have late payments and collection accounts, work on cleaning those up. Your efforts to begin cleaning up your credit will show up on your credit report no matter how small the effort. I would advise that you start on this first before getting more debt for what ever classes your wanting to take. The last thing you need right now is more debt. It will take about 45 days for your efforts to show up on your credit, but it will help you get approved for government funding. Good Luck
