That's why keeping good credit and having a good credit score is important.

I'd not lend you a cent, if you've demonstrated that you didn't take your obligations seriously in the past. Despite what ALLISON DuBOIS may say... the best indicator we have, of the future by looking into the past.

The only think I can suggest is go to a RELATIVE to borrow the money. If it's a good reason, they may take a chance on you where an institution will not.

I too have bad credit and have had a hard time trying to rebuild it because I can't get a loan/CC. There was a time I needed a lot of money and we considered doing an auto loan on our car. Depending on why your credit is bad (through circumstance or just plain bad money habits) this could be an option. The reality of losing your car will make you pay it back!

Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have... however there exists a solution.

I will hereby talk from my personal experience.

I did debt consolidation a couple of years ago, however If I had to do it again I would pay to some minor details,

if someone wants to get out of debt today it is pretty easy with a debt consolidation plan, however it may get a bit tricky at times, I suggest you get as much information as possible online on this first,
